Have you ever hired someone who didn’t meet your expectations? Have you ever hired someone who couldn’t work with your team? Did your dream new hire turn out to be your worst nightmare? One business owner describes the hiring process as a “giant deception inspection process.” This frustrated business owner goes on to say, “Very few people come close to being the person they portray on their resume….The interviewing problem goes beyond what I perceive as a pool of poor candidates who misrepresent themselves. The interview process itself is ineffective.” Unfortunately Scott Dalgleish’s frustration is not uncommon. Have you ever been this frustrated? |
